Annual Appeal Gifts to the Annual Appeal help to close the gap between the actual cost of educating each HMS student and funds that the state provides. Your gift enables us to further strengthen HMS’s educational and residential programs with specialized equipment and services that help our students to reach their maximum potential.

United Way You can support our programs with a contribution to United Way by designating HMS as your preferred recipient. Please list HMS School #00240 on the Donor Choice form for United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. HMS is also listed on United Way’s website at www.uwsepa.org.

Capital Campaign: Meeting New Challenges In 2007, HMS committed to building Harris Hall, a new state-of-the-art residence wing and to renovating the Gowen EducationWing to better accommodate the needs of today’s students. Your gift to Meeting New Challenges will help to defray construction costs and to provide additional funds for programs and services.

Matching Gifts If your employer offers a matching gift program, please look into whether HMS qualifies as a way to maximize your donation.

Honoraria and Memorials A gift to HMS in honor of a special person or event, or in memory of a friend or family member is a meaningful choice that has a lasting impact for our students.

Planned Gifts and Bequests Immediate or deferred gifts of cash, securities or other property can assist HMS in numerous ways, while providing tax benefits to the donor. Bequests can be made to the school through a brief legal document in the donor’s will.
